One of the region’s first eating places, Redwood Ordinary, opened in Norfolk in 1693, and amazing dishes highlighting Coastal Virginia’s culinary calling cards have been enjoyed since. Take a tour through the city, including getting a view (and a locally crafted beer) high above the Norfolk skyline. We’ll sample oysters and other seafood, barbecue, ham biscuits and more. Along the way we’ll also taste Very Virginia cocktails and tour - and taste - at a Virginia winery. It’s all bound to make your tastebuds agree, Coastal Virginia is the Birthplace of American Cuisine.
